For the 90th anniversary of the signing of the armistice of World War I, a commemorative album, a collection of exceptional archives, for the most part yet unpublished

This exceptional album gathers more than 400 photos of the 14-18 war, most of them as yet unpublished, taken from army archives open to the public for this occasion. Through these magnificent, and very moving images, we see the souls of millions of soldiers fallen at the front, and that of a million distraught families left behind, that come to life and tell us our History.

The book comes with a DVD of the previously unseen documentary by Cedric Condom, « les Francais dans la Grande Guerre », (co-produced by the History Channel and ECPAD). This shocking document on daily life at the front and of those left behind, during World War I, will be aired of the History Channel on N ovember 11th at 8.50pm. It will also constitute the opening of the 90th anniversary of the armistice of November 11th 1918 in Verdun, in the presence of the President of France and 27 European Heads of State.
