Dominique Wiel

Dominique Wiel was one of a fraternity of fourteen children. After leaving school at the age of 15, he worked one odd job after another before doing his military service in Algeria at the time of the war. That was the moment when he decided to become a priest. He took up his studies again, and then entered the seminary at Arras. He was ordained in 1967, and called to the parish of Outreau. At the beginning of the eighties, he left Outreau for the Tour du Renard. He later got a job as a trainer of interns in a company where he worked until the time came for him to retire.
