A RICH TAPESTRY OF SUSPENSE & FOLKLORE

Romanian police officer Mina Dragan is called to Bran Castle in Transylvania to investigate the mysterious murder of Hans Karloff.

As Mina delves into Karloff’s belongings, she uncovers five files, each relating to a missing person: a priest, the marketing director of a major television network, a bestselling author, a historian, and finally, a psychologist known for her work on the collective unconscious of humanity. All five mysteriously disappeared on September 3rd , 2023, leaving behind objects evoking fairy tales.

The mastermind behind this global scenario soon reveals himself: Alphonse Grimm, the last descendant of the Grimm brothers. Once Upon a Time: “the best story in the world since the Bible”, a book that has “the power of myths, the charm of fairy tales, the depth of the sacred texts, the fluidity of a novel.
